After graduation from July 90 to June 91 worked as a Site Engineer with M/S Nahalchand Laloochand group of Companies for a Residential Bldg project (gr+7up) at Dahisar, Mumbai for 1 year. There his scope of work included checking of various Concreting works, Brick masonry and plaster works, Plumbing, Electrification, flooring, Door/Windows etc as a Junior Site Engineer under the guidance and instructions of Senior Project Manager. Checking of materials, Maintaining Stock registers, Labour strength, Preparing Daily reports etc too were included in his scope of works.

Since July 91 to May 92 worked with M/S S.U.MISTRY (Architects & Consultants) as a Junior Design Engineer. Wherein he had prepared Structural designs and Drawings, Site visits, Preparation of Tender Documents, Certifying Contractors Bills for various Public Buildings, Cold Storage Plants, Commercial Bldgs etc.

Thereafter since June 92 to Dec 94 worked as a design and Liasoning Architect for 2 years with Architects Shri H.A.Mehta and Shri Rasik.P.Hingoo. Job included Statutory follow ups in all Departments viz B.M.C., U.L.C., BHADA, Director of industries, BMRDA etc for various Residential and Commercial projects.

He has worked independently as a Project Manager for projects Known as Classic County Residential Bldgs A and B including Row houses at Mira Road in association with M/S B.J.MEHTA and Associates.

Presently working as a Director with B. J. Mehta Architectural & Structural Consultants Pvt Ltd. handling Repairs and TDR Development Projects.

Mr Devang .J.Mehta is a Practising Licensed Surveyor and successfully Liase with various Statutory Authorities. Has a thorough expertise in Site works and Contract Administration and is ably handling major Project Management Consultancy works.
